Let's first differentiate between the two main types of SEO:

On-Page SEO

On-page search engine optimization involves optimizing your site's code and content. This includes things like:

• Unique title tags and meta descriptions for each page
• Relevant ALT and title attributes for images
• Schema markup, where applicable
• XML sitemap

All of these things are included with each WordPress website we build and are completed during the website build process. We use the Yoast SEO plugin to dynamically create unique title tags and meta description templates for each main page and their associated archives.

This process does not include keyword research, custom tags or anything beyond making sure that the basic, fundamental SEO settings are in place, via the Yoast SEO plugin, to make sure your site gets indexed properly.

If you're trying to get your site to rank for specific keywords, or to increase its organic traffic from the search engines, then the things we implement as part of your website build are just one step in a long, ongoing process of effective SEO. You need to invest time, money, resources, content, creativity and much more to compete with your competitors' sites that are already ranking in the search engines.

Off-Page SEO

Off-page search engine optimization involves leveraging assets and tactics that do not live on your website. Some of these things include:

None of these things are included with your WordPress website project with us, but they are important and highly recommended if one of your goals is to earn organic traffic from the search engines.
